When dreams find a home

After six long years of waiting and hoping, we have finally found a small house right on the main street of Amalfi, near Giusy’s shop. It was a distant dream, almost unattainable, one of those that accompany you throughout the days and make you sigh. Yet, here we are, ready to write a new chapter of our life, with hearts full of emotion and gratitude.

It’s hard to describe what it means to live here. Many fantasize about how their life would be if they lived in a place like this, where the sea blends with the sky and every corner tells a story. But only a few see that fantasy turn into reality, and it’s incredible to think we are among those few.

Fate has a curious way of weaving events together. We moved into our new house exactly on the day the lease expired for the apartment where we had been living in the historic center of Salerno, on the very same day that, six years earlier, we had first moved in there.

But what makes our hearts beat the most is that our new house is located right in the little alley where we shared our first kiss.

Could all these be just coincidences, one after another? And once again, I wonder if it can really all be just chance, or if there’s a bigger design, a force that guides and accompanies us toward what is right for us.

Now we are here, ready to live a new chapter of our life together and to discover everything this new adventure has in store for us.
